HOUSE RULES/ Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions will apply to your stay through Mitchell's Real Estate P/L. We only accept bookings under the terms outlined in this document.

 

By making a booking and paying a deposit you agree to abide with these Terms and Conditions.

 

Guest Responsibility

 

A breach of the Terms and Conditions may result in, but limited to, you being evicted from the Premises, losing your Bond and/or other monies paid or owed by you.

 

If the premises are used for any event other than as a residential holiday accommodation it will result in the immediate termination of the booking and all costs being charged to the client,.

 

If the premises are damaged due to accidental, negligence or wilful act of the guest or the guest's invitees the premises will be repaired at the cost of the guest.

 

You must:

  • Maintain noise at a reasonable level, in particular between 10PM and 8AM
  • Comply with parking regulations and show consideration to neighbours
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the property and in the allocated bins
  • Notify the Agent of any complaints as soon as practicable
  • Be responsible for their visitors
  • Respect the residential amenities of the property and neighbours
  • Abide by any noise abatement order issued by police or any regulatory authority
  • Refrain from engaging in any drunken, obscene or antisocial behaviour

 

Termination by Guests

 

if you cancel your booking for any reason the following cancellation fees apply:

  • if cancelled 6 weeks or less before arrival 100% of the total booking fee will be forfeited
  • if cancelled before 6 weeks arrival a cancellation fee of $35.00 will be taken
  • no refund for early departure
  • refunds cannot be made for bookings cancelled due to illness or inclement weather

 

Termination by Agent

 

If the premises become unavailable for occupancy before or during your stay for any reason (i.e. damage to the premise, carrying out of emergency repairs, sale of the premises, termination of our appointment to act as Agent or any other eventuality) we will try to find suitable arrangments for your stay. If we are unable to find alternative accommodation we will refund the remaining part of the tariff.

 

We cannot be held responsible should a property be listed for sale, sold or the Agent's appointment to act is terminated and your booking is cancelled.


Bookings are made on a Saturday to Saturday basis.

Linen is not provided (ie sheets, pillowcases, towels, teatowels, tablecloths). These items are available from Hire All by phoning 07 55361379.

Crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils are provided as are blankets and pillows for all beds (not for divans or folding beds).

Property descriptions in this site and with telephone enquiries are made in good faith. No responsibility can be accepted for errors, omissions or misdescription.
TENANCY COMMENCES
  • From 12:30 pm on the date of arrival and terminates at 9am on the date of departure.
    Keys to be collected from our office during office hours, please note that balance of monies MUST be paid prior to arrival and contact made with our office to make arrangements for collection of keys.
    Mitchell Real Estate Tugun OFFICE HOURS: SATURDAY 8:30am - 2:00pm
  • A SECURITY BOND of $250 is required; payable by cash, checque or credit card
  • A DEPOSIT of 50% of the total rent is required within 7 days of booking your holiday

 

BALANCE OF RENT is to be paid on arrival by cash, cheque or certain cards with the following conditions:

    • Charge of 2% for use of a credit card and 0.50c for EFTPOS from both savings and cheque account.
    We accept

      • Visa
      • Mastercard
      • Bankcard

    We do not accept American Express or Diners Club

  • REBOOKINGS must be confirmed within the first week of present occupancy and are arranged only when tenancy has been satisfactory
  • PART CANCELLATION of a firm booking cannot be accepted
  • PETS absolutely no dogs, cats or other pets are allowed in or about the premises
  • DUPLICATE KEYS - $50 deposit
  • WE RESERVE THE RIGHT for our representative or tradesman to enter the property at any reasonable time to carry out emergency repairs or maintenance.
